Northwest Pump
Celebrates 60 Years
NORTHWEST Pump (NWP)
celebrated 60 years
of business with
a new brand that
highlights being
employee-owned
and a website that’s
easier to navigate.
NWP became
employee-owned in
2006, which gave all employees stock in
the business.
“Our management team felt that our employees, past and present, are the people that
built the company to where it is today,” said
Mark Mathews, president and CEO of NWP.
“They are our partners in everything we strive
for, so it made
sense to make it
of;cial and give
them actual stake
in the company.”
NWP has
grown to more
than 200 em-
ployees and 16
branches in Ore-
gon, Washington,
California, Idaho,
Hawaii, Alaska, Montana and Arizona.
More than 15 employees have been with
the company more than 20 years.
NWP operates three divisions: petro-
leum equipment sales, industrial equip-
ment sales and installation/service.
