Bennett Pump Co., based in Spring Lake, Michigan,
specializes in fuel dispensing technology and equipment
for retail and commercial applications, as well as alternative
clean fuels technology. The company celebrates its 100th
anniversary in 2019.

Luke James Clements died Feb. 21, 2019, at his home
in Richmond, Texas. He was 96.
The World War II veteran had a 42-year career in engineering and sales with Dover Corp., OPW Division.
Bonnie Jeanne Mascott
Bonnie Jeanne Mascott died Dec. 18, 2018. She was 94.
Mascott and her husband, Bill Mascott Sr., started Portland, Oregon-based Mascott Equipment Co. in 1960. She
worked there as secretary-treasurer until 1993.
Stephen A. Purpora
Stephen A. Purpora died Feb. 2, 2019. He was 54.
Purpora worked at the family’s petroleum businesses,
Protanic Inc. and Purpora Engineering. He became president in 2002.
