Bene;cial Systems of;cially changed ownership when the
company was purchased by Melissa D.S. Rogers and Ron
Sledd, Jr., earlier this year. The company was purchased from
H.R. and Frances Sledd (the parents of Rogers and Sledd, Jr.),
who founded the company in 1986.

Associates, Inc., the company was created to ;ll a need for a
“design/build” electrical contractor well versed in the petro-
leum industry, yet agile enough to respond to the needs of the

McMichael as director of services for the organization.
McMichael, formerly a national account project manager for
Gilbarco Veeder-Root, has been branch manager for Guardian’s
Orlando regional of;ce for the past ;ve years.
McMichael will be directly responsible for the company’s
service-related activities, including customer experience
improvements, identi;cation and marketing of new service
offerings, oversight of technical training, and interaction with
all of the company’s regional service operations, key clients

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued
a guidance letter to heavy-duty on-highway engine manufacturers, outlining how it intends to determine the physical range
